This trip heads south of Phan Thiet to landmarks with centuries of history. In the morning you visit the Po Shanu Cham towers on Ba Nai hill, then take the cable car up Ta Cu — a green mountain with old pagodas and a giant reclining Buddha in the forest.
In the afternoon the car takes you to Ke Ga cape. A short boat ride brings you to the islet to climb the lighthouse the French built in the late 19th century — one of Vietnam's oldest and tallest — overlooking blue sea and sculpted rocks.
